Hi, I’m Elizabeth
The world is changing rapidly – people are travelling more than ever and technology is allowing us to communicate quickly with those far away, yet one issue remains – not everyone speaks English! To me, a world where we all spoke the same language would be like living life in black and white instead of in colour. Being able to speak anything other than your mother tongue opens up a whole new world to you.
I was fortunate enough to grow up in Italy and and am therefore bilingual (English/Italian). In my early years, I was often surrounded by people from other countries and therefore hearing people speak differently was always part of my world. It was soon to become my passion, so I went on to study French, German and Spanish.
My passion then turned into wanting to help people with communication using foreign language. Now that is what I do, whether helping them learn a new language and culture, translating informal or formal documents or interpreting face to face or over the phone.
