We are free to use whatever materials we decide together, as this whole learning process is a partnership. My core services include:

I have a lifelong passion for languages. I was fortunate enough to grow up in Italy and am therefore bilingual (English/Italian).

Later on, I learned other languages and found I really enjoyed that. I earned a degree in languages and linguistics from the University of East Anglia, and my enthusiasm for sharing language and culture has only grown since then.

My lessons are enjoyable and I’m continuing to learn a lot

I’ve been trying to learn Italian for many years now, largely through an app and book, but it is only since I’ve been going to Liz for lessons that I have made any real progress. I have gone through several stages from simply wanting to speak Italian, to realising that I need to know more grammar and a lot more vocabulary. Liz has responded to me at each level, recommending articles and workbooks, as well as talking Italian to me at a level I can manage. She has facilitated my progress to a level where I was able to converse much more freely when I last went to Italy. I am continuing with my lessons as they are enjoyable and I’m continuing to learn a lot. I thoroughly recommend her as a tutor.

I am highly flexible to your needs. Lessons generally take place at my home but can take place in a classroom setting, at your business premises, or in the comfort of your own home across the Norwich and Norfolk area. Alternatively, I regularly welcome clients to my own home. I can also offer online lessons or a hybrid mixture of in person/online lessons.

I teach all levels! Whether you are an absolute beginner wanting to learn a few holiday phrases, a GCSE or A-Level student needing focused exam support, or a professional requiring business Italian, I tailor the lessons entirely to you.

Not necessarily! We will work together to understand your requirements and identify a learning plan. We are free to use whatever materials we decide together, as the entire process is a collaborative partnership.

My passion for languages is vast! I hold a degree in German and Spanish from the University of East Anglia, I speak French fluently, and I am bilingual in Italian and English. I also provide professional interpreting and translation services across these languages.

As each individual learns at a different pace and wants to achieve different levels, this is difficult to determine. However, as the teaching is individual this can be addressed as you progress.

As a member of the Chartered Institute of Linguists, I adhere to their Code of Conduct. I have an enhanced DBS certificate, as well as professional indemnity and public liability insurance. I am also GDPR registered.
