I am an individual, and like you I value my privacy. I will always respect your privacy and your right to be forgotten.

What information do I collect and how do I obtain it?
I receive information in the following ways, either directly from you when you complete the “contact” form, email me directly, telephone me or visit me. The information I collect online is contact and marketing information so that I can provide you with an efficient service.

I use the information that I collect about you to:
(a) Process orders and enhance your overall experience by providing you with a more personalised site;
(b) provide requested details to you about the services or items you are interested in
(c) monitor customer traffic patterns and site usage to help us develop the design and layout of the site
Will Elizabeth Lake disclose the information it collects to outside parties?
I use information about you only for the purpose of providing details and services you have requested. I may disclose the information you give me to other professional translators/Interpreters/agencies on a need to know basis to enable the fulfilment of my contract with you.
Elizabeth Lake does not sell, trade or rent your personal information to others. Elizabeth Lake may provide aggregate statistics about our customers, sales, traffic patterns and related site information to reputable third-party vendors, but these statistics will include no personally identifying information.
How do I protect your information?
I endeavour to protect your information in the following ways:
(a) when you use our contact forms, we offer the use of a secure server. A secure server encrypts all of the information you input before it is sent to us, thus protecting your confidential data;
(b) I will use an encrypted email service to correspond with you with the servers in Europe. This will require you to create an account on a provider portal to allow you to access the email. Should you choose to send me information using an unsecure email account this will be at your own risk.
(c) I will not request information which is excessive for our purposes;
(d) Try, with your assistance, to keep any information we hold about you up to date and accurate;
(e) Once your job is complete I will store the documents on a secure encrypted server hosted within Europe. This information will be held for a minimum of six months and a maximum of two years unless you ask me otherwise. I will delete any other information which I hold about you which is no longer relevant, within a reasonable period of the date such information becomes no longer necessary for our purposes;
(f) Protect your data against unauthorised use.
