It is time to change the clocks and the nights are pulling in. Summer is becoming a distant memory, but that doesn’t have to mean no more holidays. With Christmas around the corner, many people are looking further afield to search for that perfect gift for a loved one. The German Christmas markets are very famous in all Europe. They have so many treats on offer, as well as tempting mulled wine – perfect when the temperatures drop!
For the more adventurous, a trip to the Alps is on the cards as they consider skiing lessons in France, Switzerland, Austria or Italy. So many ski resorts to choose from!Others, on the other hand, want to escape the cold and head in search of the sun. Places like Tenerife become attractive, where the temperatures are mild and you can forget about a cold winter back at home.
One thing is for sure – you will get more from your trip to Austria if you can speak a little German; more from your time in Tenerife if you can speak a little Spanish. You will enjoy all that the Dolomites have to offer in addition to those skiing opportunities if you can speak a little Italian.
